We didn’t go to mass on Christmas Eve for the first time. We just watched Alvin and the Chipmunks and PBB on TV then waited until 11pm before we started our Noche Buena and exchange gifts. Anyway, it’s better than yawning a hundred times during a mass. That always happens to me.

Okay my vanity shot goes first. My sisters and I decided to dress up a little because it’s Christmas, while our parents and brother were in their usual oversized shirts and overused shorts lol. Dressing up on Christmas is so highschool. (And yes I am not over with highschool yet.)

We had simple Noche Buena - chicken, spaghetti, caldereta and fruit salad. But my favorite - this side dish vegetable, buttered corn and carrots. Three of my favorite food in the world are potato, corn and cheese. I love them so much I think I have to name my future sons and daughters after them. Potpot, Corn and Cheese.

I didn’t receive any gift from Santa because I am now the Santa Claus of the family. It sucks to be employed huhu. My parents think that I do not need gifts anymore because I’m already earning. Hey parents, I still have that kiddo spirit inside of me. I WANT GIFTS ON CHRISTMAS!!! CHRISTMAS PRESENTS MAKE ME HAPPY! I’ll quit my job next year just so I can have your one of your Christmas presents, mother. FYI.

My parents hid their presents inside Christmas-themed socks. Everyone got their angpao except me. Boo. Am I too old for angpao? :(

Anyway, the boyfriend gifted me with another pair of Vans! In Christmas colors! Vans Authentic Lo Pro Black Rainbow. :) I need one hundred pairs of Vans in this lifetime. Thank you. :3

The rainbow-colored eyelets look adorable. They speak Merry Christmas to me.

Gift-giving is over, folks. Tomorrow, we’ll go back to business and start saving again for next year’s Christmas. It’s a never ending cycle. (That is if the curse of the Mayan calendar on 12.21.12 won’t come true. Hihi. :)
