The last Project Rummage of the year was a bit sad and pathetic. We made less that we did in our previous sales. Probably because (1) we brought less clothes and most of them were from US, too big for our Pinoy shoppers, (2) we didn’t have clothes for men, hence, our male shoppers were kind of disappointed with our items (I find it weird that we have lots of male shoppers each and very time), (3) they kept haggling, hardcore haggling that I felt harassed, (4) the Christmas season makes these bargain shoppers so aggressive. At 5 in the afternoon, an hour before we closed our store, clothing prices dropped so low. PHP 10 EACH! My cousin bought our authentic Calvin Klein jacket for Php 10. And one lucky woman went home with a new-old pair of Levi’s pants also for Php 10. Merry Christmas to you.

Anyway, I earned enough money for my salon treat over the weekend.

I was accompanied by the boyfriend the whole day and we watched Lovely Bones on HBO. He helped me pack orders, too. A couple roleplaying as ‘tindero’ and ‘tindera’ on a hot Saturday afternoon. Sexy, eh? lol

In other news, my long overdue Project Rummage Online is soon to open. FINALLY! I’ve worked on the Tumblr site yesterday and I just need to prepare the product photos which I’ll upload anytime next week. Project Rummage is my dream online thrift store and it will last a lifetime. Hihi. (Be the first to see my first collection by following http://projectrummage.tumblr.com now. It’s still empty. But you know what they say, the early bird catches the worm. Meeehh.)

First class, second hand deals make me happy.
