Urbandub-lub-dub is the sound of my heart.

Okay that was lame. Lol.

Urbandub celebrated their 10th anniversary last Friday at the Music Museum and the boyfriend and I were lucky enough to witness their most momentous show ever! The band performed more than 20 songs from their albums Influence, Embrace, Under Southern Lights and The Apparition. I wonder why there was no single song from the album Birth. I would love to see them perform Give or Come. Anyway, Urbandub rocked so hard that night! Repeat, yes?

Let me share some photos:

We got there at around 0730pm because my work ends at 0600pm. We thought we’d be watching standing because our tickets were on a first-come, first-served basis. But we were just right on time and we did find good seats.

We were seated in the balcony (right wing) and this is the view from our seats. Stage, fancy lights and the place where the demi-gods were seated who, by the way, got to enjoy an after-party with the band. Read: VIP.

The show didn’t start until 0930pm so the boyfriend killed time by playing Plants vs. Zombies.

And then they also played a slideshow for us to watch while waiting for them to start. The show was late for one and a half hour, I think.

Exceptional vocals from Gab Alipe. Bravo. “Para sa mga ex natin na walang kwenta, sinungaling at malalandi, sana kunin na sila ni Lord.” That’s what he said before singing The Fight is Over. Heh.

Fancy lights.

AWESOME CONCERT IS AWESOME. I say a repeat show will make this world a happier place to live in. Yezzir! :)
