Bask in the awesomeness of Coron, Palawan

I have been receiving lots of inquiries about our recent trips to Coron, CDO, Caramoan, etc. So, I am reposting this blog post I made about Coron, Palawan last February, others will be posted maybe next week. Also, I’ll be deleting http://arztafe.i.ph I’m trying to save my favorite posts by transferring all of them here in Tumblr. Hihi.

Every year, the boyfriend and I go out of town to celebrate our anniversary. For our 3rd birthday, we decided to explore Coron, Palawan and I must say, this is one of the best vacations of my life everrr. We stayed there for 4 days and 3 nights to indulge in the awesomeness that is Coron - bluer than blue paradise, powdery sand, orange sunsets and underwater sea life and corals. We lived like princes and princesses there and it sucks that we had to go back here a.k.a. Manila. We had the perfect summer weekend break in Coron, Palawan and going back in Manila was heartbreaking.

We flew via Air Philippines and we got the promotional roundtrip airfare at Php 1,516.00 nett per person. Then we availed of a very cheap tour package which I found in the internet. For 4 days and 3 nigts tour for only Php 5,000.00 nett per person. Yay! Let me share you our itinerary for the whole duration of our stay in case you are plannng to visit Coron, too. Please do!

Coron Palawan Package for 4D3N

Our contact person initially offered us the rate of Php 4,700.00 nett per person. However, we requested for 3 separate bedrooms so the rate went up to Php 5,000.00. What is an addiitonal Php 300 for some alone time with your love for cuddling and cuddling and more cuddling. Right? Heh.

Day 1: Arrival, Mt. Tapyas and Maquinit Hotspring

We arrived at Busuang Airport at 10:55 am. The package already included free van transfer from Busuanga Airport to Coron Reef Pension House where we stayed. Our driver, Kuya Barry, waited for us outside the airport while holding a sign with my name on. Unsurprisingly, my last name was spelled incorrectly. It always happens whenever wherever. Whatever. But no worries, Kuya Barry was very cheery and accommodating. Good vibes.

It took around 45 minutes from the airport to hotel. It was exactly lunch time when we arrived at our place. On our first day, they fed us Lapu-lapu, Fried Prawns (yummy!) and banana for dessert. Buffet breakfast and lunch were already included in the package so no problemo. Seafood overload for 4 days and 3 nights. Heh.

This was our usual dining spot. We were always served with 2 bowls of rice, 2 types of viand, softdrinks, water and fruits for dessert. And the best thing was you can just live it there after every meal. No need to wash the dishes unlike at home. Yey! Lol.

This is what we call our “Kompanyero Lounge.” LOL. What we do here: Hang out, play cards, play music, drink coffee, get drunk. By the way, the hotel serves unlimited coffee, too. Life, right.

And this is the view from our dining table and Kompanyero Lounge.
